뮤 지컬계의 관심에 대해 이민호는 “말로 할 수 없는 영광이다. 뮤지컬을 볼 때마다 ‘정말 멋지다’란 생각을 한다. 나의 어떤 면이 탐이 났는지 궁금하다”고 소감을 말했다. 하지만 “뮤지컬에 출연하기 위해선 많은 부분에서 준비가 필요할 것 같다”며 “우선 지금 준비하고 있는 드라마(시티헌터)에 최선을 다하고, 마음의 준비가 됐을 때 뮤지컬에 꼭 도전해보고 싶다”고 했다.
