Drama Terbarunya Minho udah di confirm

After seeing how he treated his lover Geum Jan Di on the drama Boys Before Flowers, we all know he can’t possibly be gay. But he can at least fake it.

Its just been revealed that Lee Minho was cast to play the role of a gay guy named Jun Jin Ho in a new MBC drama, Personal Taste.

Jun Jin Ho is a perfectionist who decides to act as a homosexual to become the roommate of his crush, who only befriends homosexual boys. Jun Jin Ho also enjoys seeing his room abnormally clean and neat, and of course, enjoys playing with girls as well.

“The elegant image of Lee Minho, plus his unique charm is perfect to fulfill women’s fantasies and portray men’s true feelings. We believe his acting and charisma will attract many viewers.”, says a representative.

Lee Minho stated, “I apologize for the long wait. I think my strong desire to bring better acting made me wait even longer. I promise to return as an actor who is more mature and experienced for the viewers.”

Personal Taste is planned to air its very first episode in April of this year, so stay tuned!

A couple of scoops on Minho:



1. The reason why he decided to star in "Private Taste" right after reading the script was ---

because the storyline was 'refreshing and intriguing'.

2. Minho has recently lost 2kg through intensive weight training
to look closest to the character of 'Jun Jinho' (slim but well-built with chiseled jawline ^^)
and has been practicing acting by studying similar roles from various scripts and films.

F4 captivates all on set of TV series "Boys Over Flowers"

It is easy to find your way to the set of KBS TV series "Boys Over Flowers," located in the English Village in Yangpyeong of the Gyeonggi Province. And it is even easier to find Goo Jun-pyo, played by Lee Min-ho, amongst the crowd of girls who cry out shouts of glee and housewives standing on tiptoe to get a glance at the spectacle before them. His good-looking face pokes out above a group of stylists and staff, reminding you how tall he is. At glance, Lee may seem grown up enough to act like the stubborn Goo Jun-pyo he is in the drama. But the moment the camera stops rolling, he transforms into the immature high school version of Goo -- riding down the banister rather than walking the stairs and chasing around actress Ku Hye-sun while imitating how her character Geum Jan-di talks and runs in quick and short steps.

Then as three handsome men appear on signal of the director who shouts out "F3!", onlookers who had been holding their breath burst into cheer. It is quite impossible to stay composed while observing Kim Jun, who is as reserved and at ease as his character Song Woo-bin, Kim Bum, who plays a tune on the piano placed inside a waiting room on set, and Kim Hyun-joong, who catches one's eyes by quite oddly practicing his dance moves whenever he has spare time. But you are not allowed to make any loud noise on set. The last thing F4 wants to do is to make a blooper amidst the tight shooting schedule and the interviews in between, along with the time they have to make for their fans to sign posters and soundtracks for their drama. It is a relief that no matter how tired they are, how rough things get and that even if they were to get hurt, the F4 on set is young enough to keep things rolling.

The Lee Min Ho Effect

The man that brought Gu Jun Pyo to life has finally chosen his next project. After waiting for almost a year to act again, on January 11th Lee Min Ho’s management company announced that he accepted the lead role in the drama Personal Taste for MBC. It’s a drama based on a popular novel that had been rumored would come out a while ago, but then was shelved (it was rumored in October of 2008 that Yoon Eun Hye and Joo Ji Hoon would reunite for this drama but it never happened).

The story follows Jeon Jin Ho who passes himself off as a homosexual so that he can get closer to the female lead (who is yet to be cast) because she’ll only have homosexuals as roommates. Apparently it’s pretty easy for Jin Ho to pass himself off as a homosexual because he’s slightly OCD, is a neat freak, and enjoys organizing and ironing? The drama is planning to start filming in late February and be broadcast in early April.

So what’s the big deal and the Lee Min Ho Effect? Even though the announcement was just made, major bookstores in Korea have seen a huge surge in sales of the novel. The demand is so great that finding a copy will soon be a scarcity. It’s only been 2 days, sheesh- Min Ho apparently has still got it. It just goes to show the popularity of Boys Over Flowers. I hope they start reprinting the novel if need be. Be sure to check out the drama when it comes out in April. Hope fully, it will be better than some of the other actors from BOF’s follow up efforts. *cough* Dream *cough*
